Maurice the cat has the perfect scam. Ever since they ate magical trash behind the Unseen University, he and a band of rats, known as the Clan, have been sentient. Add in a stupid looking kid with a pipe, and you have a Rat Piper racket. But when they roll into the town of Bad Blintz, things go wrong very quickly.
